Residue (2017). Amazing Lovecraftian horror film. Even better than The Void. Last year was good for Lovecraft.

Oldboy is a fantastic film.

I'm currently watching the Patrick Stewart version of MacBeth that features Soviet Union imagery.

This is probably my favorite Shakespeare play after having the privelage of seeing a few unconventional takes on it live.

It's superbly written and has many archetypes found in noire(femme fetale, obession, murder, etc.) with an aire of supernatural around the whole thing.
