I just thought the villian lost it all when revealed. It was amazingly done until the very end even in night vision but up close it was too silly.

The Meg. Great for what it was! Missed potential on just using a big shark.

I just saw Disney's 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (1954). It is truly a work of art.

The Transfiguration. Boring and pointless.

Watched, "The Love Witch" last night. Fantastic movie! It is delightfully cheesy, shot in a 60's style with the over the top acting and lots of bright colors. It actually shows some Wiccan rituals. I'm not into Wicca at all, but it is an entertaining watch. Just don't take it too seriously.

Before As Above So Below (again, amazing as both a horror and occult film) I watched Sacrifice on Netflix. It should have been good, but I figured it out like 10 minutes in, and I figured it out "so hard" that I hit all the plot points and made it better.

Not a movie, but the first season of Strange Angel is fantastic. It's an adaptation of the life of Jack Parsons, specifically his involvement with Thelema whilst staying rocketry during the WWII era.

I heard about it from a tweet by @Daimonosophy.
