Those tropes. Can't beat that! Nor Patrick Stewart.

One of my favorite ending sequences to an old western film.  I do like the music also.

Another favorite old western film, a classic, also love the music.  Two of my favorite themes in these films; revenge (righting an old wrong) and some kind of prosperity in life - riches, Indulgence.

Red Cliff based on the Romance of the Three Kingdoms. So a movie version of Dynasty Warriors.

Pickmans Muse - cool if you like Lovecraft's Haunter of the Dark but not nearly as good as people claim. Black Mountain Side and Void remain better lovecraft films.

Watched a few terrible horror films on Netflix that I can't even remember the titles.

Weird thought: for some reason I want to see The Nun just to see how I'd fare in terms of resisting the proclivity to jump out of seats like most people.

I have no interest in any of those conjuring-based movies. Those Warren people were awful witch hunters duping the people to this day it seems. Their movies are all traditional exorcist like crap.

Yea. It is inaccurate. I can't see this one topping the previous Conjurings.

I think only recently, I read that The Exorcist (1971) antagonist was based on Pazuzu.

Hollywood Horror. I think Kubrick's Eyes Wide Shut impressed me most. Strangely, he died a couple days after it was done.

Sinister. It was bad.

The Pyramid. I really enjoyed it and recommend it. Everything they say is also accurate so it's nice to watch an Egypt movie without constant nerdy eyerolls. Even scared me a bit which is hard!

The Last Winter. Absolute shit, straight into the crap box.

Having seen it now, I agree that The Pyramid is pretty good.

Without spoiling it, the only thing bugging me was that the men going inside the structure with a respirator with their 5-o clock shadow and stubble. They should have been clean shaven. They're not getting a good seal to block breathing hazardous particulates. Just suffocating themselves. They might as well have walked in without the respirator.
