non-metal occult music
« on: May 21, 2017, 10:02:34 am »
The reason I wanted to make this topic is, because admit it, the majority of Satanic, occult, LHP whatever music is Metal which is really popular and so that's gonna be virtually all that is posted in the main music thread.

Not that anything is wrong with metal, I love metal. But I just got burned out on it somewhat after listening to it my entire life, and electronic music isn't so highly distorted that I have issues making out the individual musical ideas even in good conditions. Plus metal tends to be overtly angry or aggressive, and as I've gotten older I've not related to those feelings as much anymore.

I only really know of various electronic dance genres and hip-hop / rap acts outside of metal, for Satanic music. So that will be what I put here but feel free to post anything from any genre outside of metal here. Consider this the place to listen to something different, like a hot-tub soak before jumping back in the pool that is the other topic. Or reverse that if you're someone like me.

One group I've kept an eye on, Beyond the Fallen, is a good example to start off, their genre is Aggrotech. They are like metal so you can get your feet wet first comfortably... "Unleash The Beast":

One act in dark psychedelic trance, Baphomet Engine has some hits like "Satanic Temple" and Flower of Pain" but my favorite by them has always been Mechanism of Infection:

A third and final one (for now) is Asphyxia, who are electro-industrial. A lot of their stuff isn't specifically occult or Satanic, but it essentially is in spirit (to me). And add on that themes like occultism are VERY common in electro-industrial:

While I am not into Modern Mainstream Music such as Pop, Rap, or Electro. Their is however a Song in which I adore, I regard it to be dark, Satanic, and spiritual as well. I am pretty sure the founders and the Co founders of the O.S. are familiar with this song in which I shared previously on the Satanic Music Thread on another Web Forum.

Cthulhu - A Cryo Chamber Collaboration

That first one is amazing, I think I'm gonna use it for meditation and rituals in the future, the longest i had found kinda like that before was this, Aurastys - The Gray :

I can't find their bandcamp anymore :/

Granted it's soundscape is really varied, yet still haunting.  It on loop is pretty good for a quick meditation.

I'm not sure I would call what I would share popular, even if they belong to a parent genre that is very popular... I think generally Satanic metal is always going to be more popular than other genres, just due to occultism being most associated with metal and rock.

This artist, SickTanicK is a member of the O.T.O. This track... the Luciferian archetype:

Also The Infernal Names
also by SickTanicK... but I find it a good track to listen to when I'm over taken with the ecstasy of communion with darkness:

Well with me I usually do not care of how much music or songs have Popularties, with me it depends on what songs and music resonates to me. For example this song that I did share even though it might be considered popular or out of date is to me a symbolic representation of Darkness and spirituality that resonates within my own being. I usually do not care of how much occultism and Satanism is added within music whether it is metal or rock or other genres.

Other than listening to instrumental music of a variety of genres, I also listen to a music Label known as the MMP Temple, Most of their songs I listen to have been used from one of my workings and taking long walks from home in general.

Sweet, I'll check those out.

I was looking on my computer just now, and now listening to it, found it and had totally forgotten about it:

With a name and title like God Destruction and Prometheus you know it's gonna be a good time. Based on just the song it's electro-industrial for sure but slightly on the atmospheric side (and so melody is less prominent). It's still very cyber gothic though.

Hi Shamira,

I also like some of this electronic/techno music being posted here like God Destruction and of course the dark ambience of Cryo Chamber are some of my favorites.  I'm a fan of black metal, classical, and techno music, and have been thinking of developing my own gothic techno-industrial music project.  I'm already working on some neo-classical pieces for piano and a black metal project.

You might want to check out my "Dark ambience for the ritual chamber" thread, 3rd page of General Discussions.

Their is an interesting electro type song in which melody is incorporated fully, the song is from depeche mode, supposedly I believe it was recorded in the early 90s but it sounds 80s.  The song more or less represents Darkness to me and the Age of Satan in existence.

Depeche Mode's entire body of work is like the sound of my psyche, but Violator (the album that "Enjoy the Silence" appears on) is definitely a masterpiece.

Another piece of dark beauty from Violator.  Back when I was 18-19, I spent some time as an exotic dancer, and this was one of my favorite songs to dance to.

Sorry I hadn't replied in a while.

I checked out every link here, wanna say I really liked this one part of "Sinister Musick of the Deverills Nexicon" it gave a real creepy, otherworldly vibe... made me think of getting lost somewhere like a catacomb and hearing in the distance a lone person chanting... and the sense of something ominous and forgotten living just below everything practicing old and forgotten ways...

This song might not really pertain to occult music however it is a well composed soundtrack from the Sherlock series in which I am a fan of. I am not terribly a fan on Classical Music myself but this soundtrack is quite enlightening.

Slaves of sensation; there's something we've lost.
We've ransomed our passion, heedless the cost.
Promethean gods, we have seized the flames,
But our theft is rewarded with eternal chains.

Gaze into depths of emerald absinthe,
And plunge through the twists of the labyrinth.
Gather at crossroads and chant to the wind,
Dance in the graveyards and revel in sin.

Our innocence lost, and our faith destroyed;
Spiraling down into lightless void.
Drunken on dreams and ceaselessly sleeping,
Here in the garden the angels are weeping.
