I think the nature of Horus will be the thing Setamontet and I disagree about until the end of time :). That's part of how I realized Setianism was for me, that this "authentic" ToS Setian disagreed with me and still Recognized me. Try that in the CoS!

This kind of got derailed and forgotten and I'd love to expand the list.

I don't see how this list could be accurate, for example it lists both Set and Horus as PoD.

Set and Horus are both aspects of the Prince of Darkness.

I can see that. Light/Dark aspect (or whatever you want to call the two complimentary parts). It's a similar parallel to what I was saying about Shiva/Kali. I also do a similar thing with Lilith and Satan.

I did notice Apollo in there and was a little surprise for me, does he have a corresponding other as well? I'm not familiar with Greek mythology to know what that would be. All I know is he pulled the sun with his chariot and that his sister was Artemis. (strangely, I have two cats named after them that are brother and sister o.0)
Apollo is also known as the destroyer of evil as Apollyon/Abaddon, as mentioned in the book of Revelations.

Lucifer? Technically not identical to Satan.

Lucifer? Technically not identical to Satan.

Depends on context...

If you are talking colloquial speech then Lucifer = Satan, but if you're talking classical grimoires then Lucifer is merely a subordinate demon. For me, they're the same... But, my selection criteria is as simple as 'it feels the same' to me. Classically, Set has no business in there (if you want to be technical) because he wasn't demonized until the very end of the Egyptian dynasties. Until that point he's seen in a heroic light defending Ra. He didn't become fully demonized until the Egyptians had faced many conquerors and he was seen as representing those people. (Through his association with them...)

In any case, I never take anyone else's word for it and recommend to everyone else the same. Deity is such a personal thing and those questions should be answered from one's own subjective point of view. I rarely use any name besides Satan personally, but as I sit here writing this with a seal of Lucifer necklace -- I sometimes feel the irony.... But, let's face it... It looks really damn cool. :D

I've always seen Horus as the yang to the yin of Set. They really can't even be defined without comparing them directly. :D

I'd rather leave the Horus-Set debate for its own thread and limit this to collecting names if that's alright.

Is this in any particular order? If not, how about alphabetical by either deity or culture?

I would love alphabetical by culture, want to take care of it or want me to?
