Satanism / Re: Satan as nature
« on: January 08, 2019, 04:40:57 am »
It is my belief that there are two (or more??) sides to human nature. We have our carnal side and our intellectual side. This is pretty much unique to our species. One could say that this carnal side is one with the forces and laws of nature and our intellectual side transcends what we know as nature.

I guess that is a Luciferian standpoint. I think it is an interesting question as to what nature (as in our environment and as well as our carnal side) means to Luciferians.

Lol I feel for you, getting called into an office to speak with a "superior" of any kind really sucks. Unfortunately employers care way too much about irrelevant things. As long as the conversation isn't interrupting something then it doesn't matter.

If employer's stopped prying into people's personal lives we would have a lot less unemploymemt.

If morality were objective, why would their be a need to for laws to enforce it? Why would parents try to tell their kids right from wrong?

General LHP Discussion / Re: Ritual Hangovers?

While I am not very experienced in ritualism, the "hangover" sounds like a sign that what you are doing is effective.

What really interests me is what you said about Belial. A lot of hangover symptoms are also brought on by sensory overload. Working with Belial may just be overhwelmimg your sensory system, kind of like a strobe light would.

I quit my job this week, and I'll be there finishing up another week. I have a new opportunity in marketing/advertising, and I'm excited! I've been praying, and using incantations invoking God and it's amazing what putting forth our energies and intentions can do for your life.

Right now, I'm just being lazy today.  :D

That's awesome that you quit your job, especially since you have a better opportunity now. I recall you saying you had some issues with your job, either here or on RF, I can't remember...its good you found a way past them.

Browsing the site, feeling my chin, and getting ready to go to bed at 5 AM...

I am going to start posting here again, I took a break from reading about anything spiritual because of the stress of school and my pointless obsession with bodybuilding and it kind of left a hole in my life. I felt like would be rude to step back in without reintroducing myself...

Hopes: That I will be able to increase my control over my own mind. I tend to worry and obsess over things that don't affect much, and I think that's a roadblock to my general success in life. If I ever learn to get a grip on my own mind then I think I will be set.

Dreams: To live a stable life and develop a strong skillset at a select few things

Fears: Being unable to fufil my dreams (also I have a lot other silly fears and being able to eliminate those falls under "hopes")

Regrets: My main regret is how I allowed myself to act in the past. It set me up for failure, when I was a child I did stupid things and didn't care and it completely alienated me, which pretty much destroyed my confidence

I used to watch his channel a lot. Over the years, however, I think he's dumbed his videos down. They relate to mainstream political topics more than anything. He deleted his paranormal videos and some of his music, probably to look more refined, like some sort of credible politician type...

General LHP Discussion / Re: Worship

I'm not particularly fond of the term "worship", even when it's being used to refer to a more mutual kind of affection. I don't think it applies in a situation like the one with most LHPrs-we tend to look unto deities as 'superior equals'. While we don't grovel like sycophants, there is a role model overtone to our forms of "worship", but it doesn't place one below any deity. Thus, "worship" doesn't seem very accurate to me.

That's pretty cool. I subscribed to her channel on YouTube. She hasn't made any videos as of recent, so it's good to hear she's doing okay. Her site is a very interesting read as well.

Also, a friendly word of advice. Don't post online when intoxicated in any way. It frequently will not end well.

General LHP Discussion / Re: Zeena [LaVey] - "I created myself"
« on: July 28, 2017, 09:41:33 pm »
I don't know about that. It is certainly an interesting idea worth some mental exploration. I think that the concept of having an unnamed child could bring two future parents closer in their relationship, thus catalyzing the conception of an actual child, but the "unnamed" child is an instinct present in almost all living things. Not really the individual child itself. That's my take on this.

General LHP Discussion / The Abyss
« on: July 11, 2017, 09:30:07 pm »
I wanted to make a thread regarding the Thelemic concept of the Abyss. I thought this was LHP enough to post here, but if not, I apologize. I wanted to talk about this from my understandings, and then have that improved upon as I do not think that my knowledge of this is very sound. Crowley himself stated that this was extremely difficult to explain.

So, from what I know, the Abyss is a way of describing the void between Noumena and Phenomena. In the simplest sense, a Noumenon is an underlying causative presence for a Phenomenon. For example, the noumenon behind the emission of light from a lightbulb is the electricity flowing through the filament, which can not be seen aside from its phenomenal effects.

My confusion begins at where the Abyss comes in. Crowley says that crossing the Abyss is a dangerous, but necessary method of achieving an ultimate wisdom. The obvious meaning seems too elementary. A very stupid person might look at a lightbulb from a purely phenomenal standpoint, with no understanding or interest in what is causing the glow, but everyone with sapient abilities understands that any visible occurrence has an underlying cause. This could be complicated if we're talking about the presence of basic matter having some underlying Noumena (physical existence itself), but what does this have to do with wisdom. Possibly, a Noumenal understanding of the world gives one a more objective, impartial view of the world. Maybe he is talking about the meaning of existence?

Share your thoughts.

General LHP Discussion / Re: Necromancy (serious)
« on: July 10, 2017, 12:38:38 pm »
I don't really have any interests in it, nor do I believe in the principles of necormancy. I don't think that sentient spirits capable of engaging in any form of communication linger about in graveyards. I do, however, believe that remnant energies may be present at a site where someone has died, and also in cemeteries.

I would have made a more thorough post, but I am currently sleep deprived...

The "LHP" is sort of a false umbrella made in recent times to signify various religions that strongly value the Self, logic, reason, strength, etc. There are some religions which are debatable in the their role in the Left Hand Path. I've heard religions like Wicca preferred to as LHP, however most would probably disagree. Even actual Paganism gets thrown in, which I have to disagree with.

I think that all non-abrahamic religions place more value on one's Self than their abrahamic counterparts, which really do not value the Self at all. I think that most of these religions are compatible with the LHP because of this.

Lounge / Re: Physique and Strength

I'm on a new schedule now. I hurt my back trying to do a clean and press, and since I have minor scoliosis to begin with, I decided to focus more of physique and health than strength. Obviously, I still care about strength and do do strict curls and floor press for strength, but I don't want to exert heavy weight on my spine anymore.
