General LHP Discussion / Satanic songs
« on: March 03, 2019, 12:01:21 pm »
Inspired by Liu and Kapalika. thx bby
I'll just post several replies for each song, it's easier to format that shit.
If someone wishes to understand some lyrics (more precisely by Watain) I'll gladly explain them.

So, Kapalika made a thread with lyrics of Dimmu Borgir's "The Serpentine Offering" and being a huge fan of black metal I, of course, often encounter Satanic songs. Some are for shits and giggle (eg, The Black Satans), some are trying to be serious (eg. Dimmu Borgir (they're atheists)) and rarely you can find actual, occult, satanic, philosophical lyrics.
I'll focus mainly on Watain and Deathspell Omega as they're some of the most serious bands in that region.

Watain - Waters of Ain
Chaos-Gnostic Satanism

Take me home
Ye beckoning ocean waves!
My vessel is prepared
Eagerly, my spirit yearns
Through the gates, Transylvania calls

Anointed am I
Exalted on a course to man averse
Cloven-hooved my footsteps be
The self withdrawn
Expanding as the rays of death illuminate
The bridge and the path to the waters of Ain

Where no corner's define
To the waters of Ain
Where no circles confine
To the waters of Ain
To the twilight of time
To the Death

To unmask the featureless face and know its numbing beauty
To remove the fig leaf from her cunt and enter
To pluck the fruits forbidden
Ye grapes most ripe, ye blessings of the underworld
Unleash your bitter rivers
Burn this tongue of mine
Oh wormwood sweet
Damnation's infernal wine

From the waters of Ain
Where no corner's define
From the waters of Ain
Where no circles confine
Flow, ye waters of Ain
As wormwood and wine
To the Death!

Their waters as one water in a stream against all streams
Sweet and salt now intermingle in the waking veins of Kingu
The havens tower in the yonder now
Where my vessel shall set sail
A voyage without end across the ageless waters
To shine beyond!

Do not mistake me for a star
Though I'll shine like them at night
But behold instead the darkness in between them
The Devil's light

Fearless I tread at the outpost
The brilliant abode of the dark
At the bridge from the known to the great unseen
I shall not linger

Saturn, great dark in the yonder
I give you my soul to devour
So that I may be judged in your deathlike glare
And purified
For thou art the wisdom's keeper
The shoreline where truth shall unwind
A truth that in life I am doomed to search
But shall die to find

And so his burning ship departs out from these shores
Never to return
And so he sets his sail
Towards the setting sun at the end of the world

You think you're a Satanist? No, you're just a poser!

Any of you fuckers writing something like poetry or short stories?
I know that Xepera wrote a book but I'm not thinking about that. Kapalika also has poems on her website (check them out). Anybody else?

300 fucking dollars. What? This is literally the only way to read this book. There's not a single PDF or other edition to buy. Nice.

General LHP Discussion / Excuse me, what the fuck

I understand that LaVeyan Satanism, being a "modern form", is the easiest and most acceptable form of Satanism. "Wanna be a Satanist? Here, pay us this amount and you are officially a Satanist." If you're a LaVeyan Satanist - great, be whatever you want. But don't be one thing. A hypocrite.

Satanism / More Satanic music

Ok, black metal is often shunned by masses because of it's aggressiveness, heavy distortion and harsh vocals, which was also the case here.
I present to you The Devil's Blood.
Another Satanic (not sure, but I think Selim was a gnostic Satanist) band but unlike most which are black metal the Devil's Blood is much calmer and smoother rock and roll band.

Waddaya have to say now, Xeper?

Setian Philosophy / Xeper-I-Set

Wasn't really sure whether to post this here in in Music, but does it really matter?
A great song by an even greater band. Setianism isn't nearly as common in music as satanism is but a song this good makes up for it. Vocalist and guitarist of Dissection was a member of TotBL, and if somebody knows his shit around this kind of thing, he is.

This whole album is full of symbolism and I strongly recommend checking it out.

I've been reading some parts of Liber Azerate, specifically the "Genesis" which talks about Absu and Tiamat. These stories "ripped" from Mesopotamian mythology reminded me of Joy of Satan and their belief that Satan and demons are actually aliens and basically tells the Sumerian story of Anunnaki.
What was the appeal of Anunnaki to both ToBL and JoS?
Was it them trying to make satanism look like the oldest religion (although JoS already claims that)?
Don't get me wrong, I like the story of MLO, even if they are literally fascists and most of the story is just ripped from ancient Mesopotamia.
What are your views on Liber Azerate and MLO, since I'm pretty sure I know what you think about JoS?

So, what kind of rituals do you guys do? Anything from small meditating rituals to... i don't know, burning churches?
