Kalam Cosmology Argument:

The are points of convergence definitely. One place that might be difficult to explain would be the Platonic forms as those are considered timeless or unchanging principles. But in the umbrella of Kalam, wouldn't the forms have to have a beginning? If so, then they are not Forms per se and some cause must be attributed to their existence. Otherwise, the Forms must be considered not to exist for the first Kalam premise (Everything that has a beginning of its existence has a cause of its existence) to remain true.

I find his influences on the author to be interesting. After crediting Isfet of course, he goes into detail and namedrops certain individuals. The ones that stood out to me that I am familiar with were: Heidegger, A. O. Spare, Carl Jung, Kenneth Grant, Goethe, Freud, Charles Baudelaire, Dante Alighieri, Tolstói, Gurdjieff, and Gilles Deleuze.

Yea. Go ahead and send it if you can. I'll take a look.

There are at least two Spiderman comics that feature Anansi in the mix. I'll modify this post when I find the numbers again.

Gaming / Re: I found a rogue like based on Tolkien's Simarillion.

The Silmarillion is a great work to base a game on.

That thought has occurred to me. Idk. From the outside looking in, perhaps there are cycles when certain individuals in leadership share more to the public. I think of times such as when Aquino, Flowers or Don Webb were either High Priests or Grandmasters. Magistra Hardy comes to mind too.

I think you know what I mean. Some of the replies back and forth here indicates to me that we're on the same page. There isn't really anything that we can do about the past actions that led to the state of affairs with PDFs online. It all comes down to us and how we respond to it.

At the end of the day, it's not our business to tell others what to do or what not to do. Rather, do what you think to be right. Aside from Black Magic, I think I'm doing right by myself not to read it uninitiated but to approach it on its own terms as the authors intended. Others may disagree and that's ok insofar as we are individuals. Either way, we'll both live with the consequences of our own actions.

:\ it is as @Xepera maSet says but ... I would advise that you leave the scrupulous gleanings of said tablets to the rest of the Internet. At the very least, tread carefully as there are eyes and ears in the wind themselves. I don't mean any malice by this sentiment. It's just that I want the forum to flourish for as long as possible without interference.

One of the two is not "God". That's established. The other way would be to do away with it and adopt monism.

General LHP Discussion / Re: An old dream and possible meanings...

Hail @Nuc! And interesting post @King Mob. I myself could improve in the dreaming department. There was a time when I did but nowadays I remember nothing when I get up or possibly I don't dream anymore after having dismissed them for some time. I think sleeping with my phone in hand hasn't helped my cause either. Few days I feel tired like I didn't sleep at all but most days I'm knocked out cold. I keep a journal handy in case I want to write something down.

  that's how it're welcome.

Finally. Hail @Frater Sisyphus!

I need to condense down the books on my shelf to make room for some new additions.
