Setian Philosophy / 8 Soul emanation (MindStar)
« on: March 29, 2020, 04:30:14 am »
So, I finished reading MindStar by Aquino Sensei. And I must admit, I was amazed.
What do you think about the Egyptian 8 emanations of the soul? And it made me more thirsty to get deeper knowledge and practice about it, can someone tell me more or share links, documents or other book suuggestion?

Setian Philosophy / BoCFbN vs Diabolicon
« on: February 27, 2020, 02:13:42 pm »
It is said by some setians that these two have opposed view on the origin of consciousness and the Isolated Intelligence. The the Daimonic view of the diabolicon is more materialistic and the Singular Intervention Agency which gave us Consciousness as a gift is more idealistic.
But, are these two points of view really opposed or complementary in their essence?

Is Setianism rejecting EVERYTHING related to the Judeo-Christian tradition? The Kabbalah cosmogony etc.

Setian Philosophy / Apep
« on: November 26, 2019, 04:43:49 pm »
I'm confused. It is said that Apep is to be overthrown. It is said that he isn't a chaos like Set but more like illusion. It is said that even Set fought him, but there is a Setian order called "The Order of Apep". They are saying they are Setian.
What is the Setian position about Apep?

The Dragon Book of Essex by Andrew Chumbley, especially "The Formula: of the Stellar Transvocation" starting on page 145.

Seven Faces of Darkness by Webb (if you haven't)

Liber Isfet by Lucas N.

Visions of the Nightside by ToAF

Book of Mephisto by Asenath Mason

The Satanic Rituals by LaVey and Aquino

Apophis the huge compilation one by Michael Kelley

Bible of the Adversary by Ford if you can handle the editing

Thanks, I already have 7 faces of darkness and I'll try the other ones. You are amazing.

Joining any initiatory order is entirely up to the desires and needs of the individual.

There are a number of sources from Setian authors on more practical BM. Two popular books that were birthed from internal Order practices brought to the open are Apophis and Infernal Geometry. Both require work and interpretation on part of the individual. There are others, but I would also say there is value in digging on your own.

Thanks a lot, infernal geometry is amazing.

As I read the "free" online sources for setian magic. I am more and more thirsty for more. Do we have to join the ToS to have this "more"? Or are there other sources for PRACTICAL SETIAN BLACK MAGICK? I've already read some books from Don Webb.

Thanks and Xeper

I don't know if there are already essays about the correlation between setianism and Jungian Psychology, I'm really willing to read if my brothers of the OS can send some links.
Long before my involvement with the LHP and the Setianism in general. I have read tens of C.G Jung's books. And his principle of individuation has caught my curious mind. In Jungian psychology, also called analytical psychology, individuation is "the process where the individual self develops out of an undifferentiated unconscious – seen as a developmental psychic process during which innate elements of personality, the components of the immature psyche, and the experiences of the person's life become, if the process is more or less successful, integrated over time into a well-functioning whole." Other psychoanalytic theorists describe it as the stage where an individual transcends group attachment and narcissistic self-absorption.

In my opinion, this is what Setianism is all about.

Hello! I'm Elric, 29, I've treaded the LHP for a year or so. I've been introduced to Setianism by @Xepera maSet through his reddit acount Three_Scarabs, under the LHP subreddit. And after reading BlackMagic by Aquino, I think I found my Path and from that one I'm doing the Invocation of Set ritual everyday. Reading all suggested writings. I'm building my own ritual little by little now. But yeah, here I come wanting to interact with other LHP here, especially Setians.
