Re: Real practical BM Joining any initiatory order is entirely up to the desires and needs of the individual.

There are a number of sources from Setian authors on more practical BM. Two popular books that were birthed from internal Order practices brought to the open are Apophis and Infernal Geometry. Both require work and interpretation on part of the individual. There are others, but I would also say there is value in digging on your own.

The Sevenfold Breaths of the Dragon (Dragon Book of Essex) From the Dragon Book of Essex by Andrew Chumbley, put in order by me. It's meant to be done before an image of Draco with 14 stars, preferably the actual constellation but an image of it is fine too.

Let the Sevenfold Breath of Power be given. Let the Sevenfold Breath of Power he taken.

Let the first inward breath of the Sorcerer be the first breath of the Dragon-God upon Earth: the Ever-transmutable Body of Magical Power Incarnate. This is the first breath of Witch blood newborn; this is the first breath of Thee, O' Azhdeha.

Let the first outward breath of the Sorcerer bear forth Void: the Compass of Power to ensorcel all Realities.

Let the second inward breath of the Sorcerer be taken in his goingforth: his rising from the grave of the Ancient One of Flesh; his issue from the Womb of Death: the Corpse-mound of Universes slain.

Let the second outward breath of the Sorcerer bear forth the Flame of the Ancient One: the Fire All-creating to claim the Void, the Fire All-destroying to ignite the World.

Let the third inward breath of the Sorcerer imbibe the Howling of the Void, the mighty in-rushing of immortal souls cast out from the sacrificed Forms of mortal gods and mortal men.

Let the third outward breath of the Sorcerer cast forth the Souls of the Chosen: the Risen and the Remembered of the Wise, the Subtil and the Strong,-the Kin of the Snake. Once more to flesh, once more to prey, once more to coil about the Earth.

Let the fourth inward breath of the Sorcerer imbibe the Star-envenom 'd Nectars from this Point within the Compass'd Void. From the Very lips of Self-entirety let the Elixirs of the Quintessence pour forth. For now hath the Self-poison 'd One arisen, forever undead, forever unborn, to manifest the Formless Form.

Let the fourth outward breath of the Sorcerer cast forth the Poisons from Within; let the sloughs of the Self be shed, let Matter be born through the Gates of Sense,-here to fashion the Many-faced Mask: the lconostasis of all Form, the Ordeal of the Existant.

Let the fifth inward breath of the Sorcerer draw forth the of Al Shuja,-thus to ignite the Tongue of all Sorcerous kin with effulgent radiance -that they may cast forth the Spells of Tran~formation and enshrine the Essence of the Dragon within the Substance of Flesh.

Let the Fifth outward breath of the Sorcerer divide and disperse 'twixt all Living: Let the Fire of the Ancient One quicken and chasten,-with Blessed Mark to anoint the Chosen, with Cursed Knife to flay the many fields of skin and pelt. May the Sacrifice be given to Thee: all flesh to feed the Altar-flame wherein Our Pact is bound.

Let the sixth inward breath of the Sorcerer inflame the Gateways of Sense to perceive beyond and between all Domains of the Existant, to reach forth unto the Temple from whence came Our carnal descent,-to behold the Visions of the Elder Gods.

Let the sixth outward breath of the Sorcerer bear forth Illusion: the fuliginous clouds of the thunderstorm, the poisonous mists of the Serpents guile, the broiling vapours and fogs of hiding,-to veil the Sorcerer in the midst of All, to conceal the Circle of the Brood and ensnare the World as the Dragon's food.

Let the seventh inward breath of the Sorcerer place the Seal of Gnosis to empower and bind this utterance, as with these Words -so with the Speech of all the Dragon's Brood.

Let the seventh outward breath of the Sorcerer be the last breath of the Old Flesh: the commandment of iconoclasm to aught that bindeth Force with Form; the Serpents kiss of betrayal, the nuptial kiss of the Negated Ones. This is the death-cry of all Living, the breath to extinguish universes. Let the Sorcerer be cast into the Graaf of this Sacrifice; let the Offering be raised unto the Dragons mouth.

Re: The Anthology of Km Anu This is the moral construct I'm holding at the moment.

1. The mind will starve if it is not fed, resulting in stagnation

2. Tolerance is paramount to co-operation

3. Variety benifits progression

4. Change should be embraced when it benifits progression

5. Morality is not an excuse for stagnation

6. Thought is wasted if it does not result in action

7. Legislative change must be absolutely enforced to benifit progression

8. All Law-abiding citizens deserve freedom, regardless of their differences

9. Freedom applies to thought as well as physical movement

Re: The Anthology of Km Anu A chant for illustration in divinatory rituals.

Sekhem seeks none but a thrown

Divide, combine, as Setan has shown,

Within, without, I search the unknown.

Under, deeper, this power I grow.

Slither and wrap, as focus may fade,

Melt, become, and shape life away.

Re: Xeper - What does it mean in your practice? Xeper is an ancient Egyptian verb/noun (pronounced Khefr) written as a stylized scarab beetle, which in English roughly translates as “ To Become” or “ To Evolve” or, “I Have Come Into Being”.  We all have within ourselves our own individual hidden truths of higher being.  The path and quest of Xeper is to uncover and to ultimately become the very embodiment and most complete and supreme manifestation of these truths.

It is a dynamic spiritual transformation in one’s life in which the horizons of the potentiality of one’s own being expands.  It is the establishment of a new higher mode or state of existence.  Xeper, like in Alchemy, is the transformation of the soul or psyche from a lower state or base element into that of a higher state or divine element.

Xeper happens.  For instance, Xeper happened to me on that day when I first truly heard that piece of music which would inspire me to devote the next eight + years of my life learning music theory and piano technique.  Xeper happened to me on that night when I first invoked the Name of Set in a Working of Greater Black Magic and Came Into Being as a Setian.  In those moments of dynamic spiritual transformation, major paradigms in my life were shifted and I was changed forever.  Xeper is that which transformed humans from what we were 2 million years ago to that which we are today, and which will continue to transform us into other higher more refined forms.  Hence, it occurs on both a macrocosmic (racial) and a microcosmic (individual) level.  Xeper continues to occur through the self-directed Remanifestation of these self-directed transformations of being.

Xeper and Remanifest.

How to Be a Better Animal On this New Year's Day I have this to say:

3 + 7 = 10.

3. Satan represents undefiled wisdom instead of hypocritical self-deceit.

7. Satan represents man as just another animal who, because of his "divine spiritual and intellectual development", has become the most vicious animal of all.

On this first day of 2020 I offer the 10th because 10 is plenty.

10. Satan represents how to be a better animal instead of a bumbling buffoon.

The Satanic Sins provide a blueprint of how (or how not) to be a better animal. They are undefiled wisdom.

1. Stupidity - if someone could rightfully say to me, "You should have known better," I've committed the 1st Satanic Sin. I've ignored my better judgment and gone with foolish impulse. The Better Animal does what it knows is smart regardless how it feels.

2. Pretentiousness - if I act the part among those who can tell the real thing, I've committed the 2nd Satanic Sin. I've tried to to sell a version of myself my audience would never buy. The Better Animal does not pretend except among the undiscerning.

3. Solipsism - if I assume others think or feel as I do, I've committed the 3rd Satanic Sin. I've left myself unprepared for how others actually think or feel, and how they therefore will behave. The Better Animal treats other minds as opaque until behavior renders them transparent.

4. Self-Deceit - if I convince myself reality is how I want, fear, or expect it to be, or how others tell me it is, without any other reason, I've committed the 4th Satanic Sin. I'm in for either a rude awakening or else an uninterrupted sleep. The Better Animal guards its mind against unreliable input.
5. Herd Conformity - if I go along with the crowd against my better judgment, fondest wishes, or creative vision, I've committed the 5th Satanic Sin. I'll never be happy or even safe unless the crowd sees fit to let me. The Better Animal thinks for itself.

6. Lack of Perspective - if I fail to see the forest for the trees, I've committed the 6th Satanic Sin. I've failed to put facts in their proper context, and will make the mistakes of the short-sighted. The Better Animal seeks a bird's eye view.

7. Forgetfulness of Past Orthodoxies - if I fail to study the past, I've committed the 7th Satanic Sin. I'll walk blindly into a future I could have foreseen or better understood. The Better Animal looks behind as well as ahead.
8. Counterproductive Pride - if I fail to adjust my losing plans because I'd have to eat crow, I've committed the 8th Satanic Sin. I've cut off my nose to spite my face. The Better Animal knows acknowledging fallibility is often in its own best interest.

9. Lack of Aesthetics - if I fail to apply basic principles of elegance and style to what I do, I've committed the 9th Satanic Sin. I've revealed myself as a philistine and a bumpkin and thus will only attract  philistines and bumpkins. The Better Animal puts forth the most handsome display.

(New 10th Sin.)

10. Addiction - if I find myself powerless against a compulsion, I've committed the 10th Satanic Sin. I've made some mode of self-destruction into my higher power and myself its mindless thrall. Rather chew off an arm than pierce it with venomous needles. Rather chew off tongue and fingers than use them to place ruinous bets. The Better Animal arranges its life like a fortress against soul-sucking impulses.

Understanding all of the above is advantageous in our savage jungle of a world.
