Introduction Greetings,

I am a solitary male practitioner of the arts who found out about this forum not so long ago.

After some experiences on other fora and websites (some good and some rather bad) i came to the conclusion that this modest but, on first sight, very mature looking place seems to have the mindset and mentally i was looking for, for quiet some time.
Modest, mature, no nonesense, sencere, open, polite and last but not least, a zero tolerance for misbehavior!
This because it is my will to make sencere and honnest contacts and hopefully friends in the world of magic who are as passionate about their Craft as i am.

Being raised catholic, my first steps in the area of mysticism and the occult were as a teenager.
This was also the time when i encountered my first 'supernatural' or how some others would call it, 'paranormal' or 'magical' experiences.
As a young adult i started to delve into these currents more consciously and often until it became a crucial part of my life and this is were i'm now.

As a practitioner i am especially interested in the more 'black' labeled currents or as most would call it, Left Hand Path, but i am open to everything that can be of use for one's journey towards immortality.

The main area's of my Craft lay in: Satanism, traditional no-nonesense witchcraft, ritual magic and implementation, divination, daemonolatry/spirit communication, energy work, vampirism, runic magic, shadow work (and the, for now, beginning foundations of) shadowmancy, (for now basic) shamanism and necromancy.

Except some very minor attempts of some people close to me starting out with working groups, i never really joined a solid order, temple, coven,...
However, some out there really have grabbed my attention. Temple of Set is one of them, especially due to their academic approach and some of them being former Pylon's of Set and hard to make contact with.
An example of this is Order of The Voltec, an order which i would like to know more from and hopefully have some contact with ex members, since i have been informed that the order is now defunct.

As i've said in the beginning of my introduction (which turned out to be an epistle  :P) I am very willing to make contacts with other fellow witches, warlocks, sorcerers or whatever you like to name it and open for conversations.
It looks like people can send PM's to, so don't hesitate if you have a question or want a nice chat.

I am looking forward to be active in this community since i have great expectations.
Cheers!

Re: Hate Isn't the way of the Satanist I highly aggree on your post.

Another good example i would like to bring up is the mindset practitioners have about 'Curses'  and malifica towards others.

As everything and everybody is vibrational, lots of people who are led by hate are most of the time those who are functioning on what one would call 'lower' vibrations.
This because they are not happy with their lives, or how they live or even worse, because they have not a descent clue of which path they're following, being stuck etc...
Situations like this are an extreme danger to a being's vital energy (Prana, Chi, ....) and because of this, lower vibrations have the upper hand. Hereby, some use hate or products stemming from it as a weapon, tool or sometimes shield.
A good example of this are bullies.

I came to the conclusion that sencere emotions (and yes, even hate, coming from deep anger)
can only come from higher vibrations.
In order to function on higher vibrations, one has to be sencere and honnest to one's self, one's path and Will.
That's why i believe that pure hate comes from deep anger, as anger in my experience is the result of one's existence and freedom being threatened by external factors.

From this perspective and experience, i came to the realisations that a succesful curse is a way to 'clear' the threat on one's existence, and not just a way to mess up a person's existence or to 'battle' other magicians or witches which is, unfortunately a mindset some sorcerers have.

I would like to refer to the statement of LaVey you've made in your post.

I'm so happy we're talking about cursing.

In my practice Xeper's manifestation is the result of the totality of self working to identify and attain a desired thing via action. Let's use concious and subconcious here for brevity.

The sub concious communicates to the concious aspect that some external limitation has been placed. The anger inherent in perception of that limitation may be overcome by action (curse) or mindfulness. Once critical thinking and focus on freeing the self from the limitation is established the practitioner may also employ a curse to direct subconcious action towards the target.

This presents two functions for our curse.

1. Expression to communicate to the self that the emotion has been perceived and resolved

2. Subtly hurting the target

Not just a way to hurt another, but also not just a meditative tool.

For example, If I stuck a poppit covered in needles in a sheep's mailbox with their name scrawled on its head in animal blood it's going to effect the person's psyche deeply, negatively, and measurably. Sounds effective enough.

i aggree!
As, let's take the example of an effigiy, is the physical manifestation of the intrusion in reality, which is the curse.

Re: Creativity and Selfhood I made music for over a decade.
Since my love always laid in the composition and end results of songs, i realized this was only because i didn't dare to see any further and was obstructed by lots of fear and insecurity.

The last years i was making music, i was also a different person.
In the end, it turned out my heart laid on stage as a live performer.
The very few but really intense gigs we did were an unbelievable experience for me.
Like in that small moment, i felt infinite potential and energy when i was there on stage.
it was very strange but yet... amazing.

Re: Set and the Tau cross Is a possibility.
Another angle can maybe be his scepter or wand, since sometimes it is also depicted in a T shape?
