Re: Dark Classical Music A funeral march or dirge "Funerailles" by Franz Liszt, one of the many works I learned during my classical training years studying music theory and piano technique.  Here played by one of my favorite pianists Claudio Arrau;

Re: Satanists are cats Oh hell, I remember way back when, I was trying to put together a black metal band and met these two guys online who bragged about their desire to form a bm band also.  Well, we got together and partied a little, and jammed a little.  It soon became obvious to me though that these guys were just young, dumb, and full of shit.  They couldn't play guitar worth anywhere near what I expected and wanted, and the one idiot when I let him wear one of my Baphomet medallions got so excited and exclaimed "hey look at me I'm a Satanist now."  :facepalm:  These guys were a major disappointment but were a little entertaining for a while, but soon became extremely boring and I had to break all ties with them.  :huh:

Full disclosure, I love cats, I used to have seven of them at one time.  However, thinking back, and ever since I got my pit bull Sarge, I know now that I have always been a dog person.  Maybe Setians are dogs/canines - the Jackal of Anubis.  Haha, I am both a cat and dog lover to be sure! ;)

Hail, Bast!
Hail, Anubis!

Re: Satanists are cats Upon further introspection I personally have more of a cat like personality and presence.  I am not loud and rowdy, but rather kind of quiet, independent, and can be indifferent and rather sneaky.  I tend to move around/walk with a light footstep, can enter and exit a room full of people and not be noticed (invisibility), also a vampyric trait.  I can be loud and rambunctious when I want to be, so, although I prefer dogs, I think I have more of a feline essence.

Re: How do you treat your altar? At this time I use the top half of my digital piano as my altar.  The center piece is my Pentagram of Set, with dual Anubis candle holders with the black heads of the jackal on a human body, both heads facing the pentagram.  On the right side of the altar is seated on a black throne is Anubis; head and body painted black with long golden hair and modest gold clothing, and holding up a golden Tcham scepter with his left hand.  In front of Anubis is a small statue of the standing lioness headed goddess Sekhmet.  To the far right of the altar is my Leviathan essence burner.  Between the enthroned and the kneeling Anubis statues is my silver Infernal Graal.

On the left side of my altar is my ceremonial bell, along with my 9'' standing Ma'at statue with about an 8'' wing span.  In front of it a black winged scarab (Khepera) surmounted by two black rams of Amon. As for altars and ritual chamber you make do with what you have.   ;)

Re: Question on experiencing the after ritual effects of Magick? Hey Sutekh,

I've done some conjuration of compassion workings for certain friends of mine.  One that comes to mind was a working I did to bless a pentagram/trapezoid or Seal of the Nine Angles pendent I had custom made of sterling silver and black enamel about the size of a silver dollar costing about $84.  This pendent was one of my prized possessions.  When this friend of mine told me he was going to join the army after the 9/11 attacks, I ritually blessed the pendent as a protective sigil for him during his war time deployment.  Brady, my friend wore this pendent tied around his dog tags during his tour of duty.  When he came back from Iraq he thanked me again for giving him the pendent and wanted to give it back to me, and I said to him "No dude, this pendent is yours now, a Magical gift from me to you".  ;)
