Re: Diabolus camena You seem to be a good lyricist. It would be cool to hear some of your music. I like the Latin section of Conjuration of Infernal Winds. It gives it that archaic, pseudoreligious feeling that sanctified old black metal. I think I will create a "LHP lyrics and poetry" thread and share some of my lyrics as well.

LHP Lyrics and Poetry Post Left Hand Path lyrics and poems that are either your original compositions or just ones that resonate with you. Here are some lyrics I've written:

"Black Winds from the Grave"

The mass of death it worships me
The gas of death shall still haunt me
Danse macabre eyes can't see
Still macabre I can see

Worship on the fucking altar!
Sacrifice, blood cast upon the stone
Feed the gluttons of the sovereign
Shredded flesh for decayed strength

My mind is heavy, heart is lead
Frigid flesh inside my head
Morphing death, communion bed
It will morph in me, as said

Sever the ties with its face
To lay my lips on the other end
Fuck no
Fuck no

Death's arrival far to near
Morbid womb remains unclear
With the chains now broken here
The dagger in my chest is fear

"Fallacy of the Belligerent"

They fast in silence, cut our necks
With gilded blades of discrete lead
Our bleeding fate with now unfold
Our choking throat and lives are gone
Death's new tale is being told

They say it's inane
Obscene and insane
But they will never do a fucking thing
We sit and watch as doors slam shut
Glass once translucent
Turns gray, breaks with shards
We cut our future deep and far
The end is fucking here

The men march through an ashen land
Deceived by promise of doom's hand
The hand weaves cast
The threads we cast
The image we discern before our death

Re: Music thread Today, I was bored and feeling fairly energized as far as voice goes, so I decided to play around with my limited musical resources and write another song. I used a guitar, bass, a snare drum, and my phone.

My vocals and drumming aren't too good, sorry.

Physique and Strength Since the Left Hand Path is about self-improvement, why not discuss weight training and whatnot? I started lifting weights about a year and a half ago.

I'm a short guy; a little over 5'3 (5'4 with shoes on), and I weigh 105 pounds, almost 110 on a full stomach, so I am obviously very driven to work out and attain a better physique and more physical strength. I'm seeing some improvements, my chest and shoulders especially, are starting to increase in mass and become defined. My current max deadlift is 157 (as limited by the amount of weights I have, I could probably do a little more), my max bench is roughly 100, and as for squats, I do not have a rack. I can press 66 pounds over my head and squat it with little effort, and I can do 80 pound Bulgarian squats, which translates to something a little under 160 with regular squats.

The point in this thread is just to discuss physical fitness, your current stats, your goals, exercises you like etc.

Re: Physique and Strength
As much as with Physical fitness for me, On a scale I weigh about somewhere between 140. Unfortunately I am one of the Laziest person you can ever meet when it comes to exercising, within one of my own goals I've always wanted to improve my biceps and strength, unfortunately my arms are a bit thin. I plan on doing weight lifting for my Senior year, the simple exercises I tend to like is walking in an isolated location out in the middle of nowhere listening to my favorite songs. I also do boxing as well for my second exercise, in my boxing we tend to do extreme cardio including some weights as well. I am a very outdoors person when it comes to escaping from home, however I always have a weakpoint of procrastinating when it comes to doing weights on ones own time. I am also somewhere between 6 and a half tall.

Boxing and stuff of that nature works well as both cardio and explosive exercise. A person who can bench 200 won't be much stronger than the average person when it comes to explosive movements, like punches, but a person who does boxing type stuff will be much stronger in that aspect. That's what explosive strength is

You should probably devise a schedule. I use the Northern Brothers schedule. The Northern Brothers are Swedish (I hate the term, but...) nationalistic guys who make videos regarding lifting and other forms of self improvement. Now it's just one guy, with the name changed to "Northern Brother". They uploaded a schedule that works as follows:

Monday: Upper body strength day

Tuesday: Lower body strength Ray

Wednesday: Optional explosive, cardio, martial arts, or technique

Thursday: Same as the above

Friday: Upper body mass day

Saturday: Lower body mass day

Sunday: Rest

On the strength focused days, use heavy weights with low reps, and on the mass days, use lighter weights with higher reps. The strength days will also have the sympathetic effect of building mass, and vice versa.

I've been using this schedule since March, and I quite like it.

Re: Physique and Strength
Physical fitness is important to me, I am 5'10" and weigh about 165-170 pounds.  I am in my 40's but feel like I'm in my twenties.  If you take good care of yourself your always as young and look as good as you feel.  I like lifting weights and working out my legs.  A part of this includes, since my foot has healed, my waking up early in the morning and walking my pit bull about 1 or 2 miles.

Exactly. I recall reading some studies showing that men in countries where physical labor all through life is the status quo have higher testosterone levels than those in other countries.

I firsthand evidence as well; my grandfather, who is in his late 70s, has better musculature than me. This is because he has done a lot of physical labour in his life.

Re: Thrash Metal Arch Enemy and Morbid Angel are death metal, not really thrash metal. That said, Morbid Angel's Altars of Madness rules. I'm not much for death metal, but I certainly do love Morbid Angel.

I just finished working on learning the solo to Orion by Metallica. It's my third favorite Metallica song behind Sanitarium and One, which is the greatest thrash metal song of all time IMO.

Re: Is there an ideology outside the LHP which values the Self? The "LHP" is sort of a false umbrella made in recent times to signify various religions that strongly value the Self, logic, reason, strength, etc. There are some religions which are debatable in the their role in the Left Hand Path. I've heard religions like Wicca preferred to as LHP, however most would probably disagree. Even actual Paganism gets thrown in, which I have to disagree with.

I think that all non-abrahamic religions place more value on one's Self than their abrahamic counterparts, which really do not value the Self at all. I think that most of these religions are compatible with the LHP because of this.

Re: Necromancy (serious) I don't really have any interests in it, nor do I believe in the principles of necormancy. I don't think that sentient spirits capable of engaging in any form of communication linger about in graveyards. I do, however, believe that remnant energies may be present at a site where someone has died, and also in cemeteries.

I would have made a more thorough post, but I am currently sleep deprived...

Re: Just met a somewhat famous satanist That's pretty cool. I subscribed to her channel on YouTube. She hasn't made any videos as of recent, so it's good to hear she's doing okay. Her site is a very interesting read as well.

Also, a friendly word of advice. Don't post online when intoxicated in any way. It frequently will not end well.
